After snooping around with a flashlight proved worthless, he unbolted the front seat, and our excitement quickly deflated as we still saw no sign of the ring. There are heating/cooling tubes under the carpet that transfer the air to the rear part of the vehichle; perhaps the ring slipped in there. Yet again despair sank in after disconnecting the tubes. We had already taken all the seats out from the back last weekend and our treasure hunt options were quickly narrowing. Call it inspiration or desperation, but he felt like he should look again down in the black hole…nothing. Then, it happened, the flighlight caught the glimmer of the diamond tucked 4 inches down, resting on the acutal metal chassis of the car. True love is the only reasonable explanation for this treasured recovery.

Yay!!! I'm glad to hear Terra.
I'm a friend of Andy and Jareds and sometimes snoop at others blogs. i read your ring story and understand the lost and found ring story. i lived in Hawaii as a newly wed and our car was broken into with my ring in my coin purse, in the truck under a towel, while we were snorkeling. needless to say they missed my coin purse under the towel but took everything else. What a blessing. i also will be moving to LA in June. what area are you in and do you like it?
